For the last decade I’ve been making bespoke furniture for the home. Four years ago, I decided the time was right and started my own business. I moved into a workshop in the heart of the Pennines and haven’t looked back since.

I founded Woodnote on the premise of a simple idea: do nice work and involve the right people.

Media units are one of my favourite things to design and make. They are an elegant way to transform a space and create plenty of storage. One of the best things about handmade furniture is there really are no limits and a bespoke media unit is an excellent example of that - it can encompass anything from an art gallery to an entertainment hub and everything in between. I can’t recommend this versatile piece of cabinetry enough.
