Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough how we create our handmade kitchens, from first ideas to final fitting.

Step 1: Getting to know you (and your space)

Everything begins with a conversation.

We’ll meet you at your home to see the space, and also understand how you like to live within it. We want to know what matters most to you. More smart storage? A kitchen island with seating? Built-in larder or pantry cabinetry?

We’ll also assess the space, including the layout, lighting, and any architectural features. These conversations lay the foundation for your made-to-measure kitchen.

Step 2: Bespoke kitchen design

Next, we’ll bring your ideas to life with a clear, detailed design.

You’ll see visuals of your kitchen layout, options for handcrafted cabinetry, and material samples—from natural hardwoods to painted finishes. Whether you prefer Shaker-style kitchens, something more contemporary, or a mix of both, we’ll help you make confident decisions at each stage.

We’ll also provide a transparent quote so you know exactly what’s included.

Step 3: Handmade in Yorkshire

Once the design is approved, our small team gets to work building your kitchen in our Yorkshire workshop. Every piece is handcrafted using high-quality, locally-sourced hardwoods and time-honoured joinery techniques.

We pride ourselves on creating kitchen furniture that balances form and function, with considered features included just for you.

Step 4: Installation (and the big reveal)

When your kitchen is ready, our friendly team will install everything with care and attention to detail. We treat your home like our own, keeping our work tidy, respectful and focused.

Once installed, we’ll walk you through every drawer, door, and detail, making sure everything feels just right.
